Bakti Desa

Bakti Desa or Bakdes are programs from. It is an obligation for every 11th-grade student to join this program. The program starts on January 3, 2019, until January 5, 2019.

The first day is the day we go to Cibereum Village by public transportation. The trip takes 3 hours. Then, we were divided into several groups, and each group was entrusted with foster parents.
in the first day, we helped with our parents' homework and started chatting to get closer to our family there.
Then, on the second day, we spent all day to help our foster parents to work. My foster parents work as farmers, and their child is a student so I and my friends help them grow grass, and harvest crops.

It's tiring, but it's fun at the same time. Then we need to attend agricultural training. We learned to plant crops, plow land with tractors, and many others. We also conduct charity events for villagers.

We distributed food, clothes, and books to them.

On the last day, we had to complete this program, so we had to say goodbye to our foster parents. Our foster parents are really kind and considerate, we are very sad apart from them.
